A poshak that fits well lets Thakurji sit comfortably and keeps the shringar looking neat all day. Laddu Gopal idols come in many sizes, so measuring once before you order saves a lot of back and forth.

Measure the idol

  • Height: measure from the base the idol sits on to the top of the head, in inches.
  • Width: measure across the shoulders, from one side to the other.
  • Use a soft tailoring tape, or a thread you then lay against a ruler.

Match it to the size on the product

Every poshak on our store lists the idol size it is made for. Pick the size that matches your measurement. If you have bought a poshak before that fitted well, its size number is the safest guide.

Between two sizes?

Choose the slightly larger size. A poshak that is a little roomy can be tucked and settled with the patka; one that is tight will not close properly over the back.

Still not sure?

Send us a photo of your Laddu Gopal next to a tape on WhatsApp and we will tell you the right size before you order.
