Questions

Short answers first. Write on WhatsApp if your vigraha is an unusual size — we make to measure.

How do I measure a haar for Laddu Gopal or Thakur ji?

Measure the neck of the vigraha with a soft tape, in inches, at the point where the haar should sit. Send that number and a front photograph on WhatsApp. We cut the haar to that measurement; do not add ease unless we ask you to.

What size mastak fits a six-inch Thakur ji?

A six-inch vigraha usually takes a mastak of about 2.5 to 3 inches across the brow. Heights vary by murti, so a photograph from the front is more reliable than the inch height alone. We confirm the size before we start a made-to-order piece.

How long does a made-to-order shringar take?

Most workshop sets leave Nathdwara in about ten working days after we confirm size and stones. Festival weeks run longer. We send a photograph on WhatsApp before the parcel is packed so you can ask for a change.

What should I offer on Janmashtami?

A fresh vastra, a haar and a mastak are the usual seva for Janmashtami. If you already have last year's set, add a new haar or a small kundal rather than replacing everything. Order at least two weeks before the date if the piece is made to order.

When will an in-stock piece dispatch?

In-stock pieces usually leave within four working days. We photograph the actual item before dispatch. Pin codes in the hills and the northeast can add courier days after that.
